Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 30, 2026

Operated by James DeLuca ("Valiant," "we," "us," or "our")

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Valiant (the "Game") — across our website (valiantmmo.com) and our mobile apps — how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using Valiant, you agree to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

1. Information We Collect

Account & contact information

Game data

Purchases

Usage & analytics data

Device & technical data

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity, a product-analytics service, to understand how players use the Game. Clarity captures behavioral data such as clicks, scrolls, and session interactions (including session replays and heatmaps), along with device and approximate-location (from IP) information.

This data is processed by Microsoft in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We use Clarity only to improve the Game's experience and performance — not to advertise to you or to identify you personally. You can learn more at the Microsoft Clarity website.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers ("processors") that help us run the Game, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us. These include:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition). We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and similar local-storage technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the Game. Analytics technologies (Clarity) also use local identifiers. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings, though some features may not work without them.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Game. When you delete your account, we delete your personal account data and game data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app or website (Account → Delete Account), or by contacting us. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Access, correction, and portability. You may request a copy of your personal data or ask us to correct it.

Notifications. You can turn notifications on or off at any time in your device settings or in the Game's notification settings.

EU/EEA & UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Our legal bases are: performance of a contract (to provide the Game), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Game), consent (where requested, e.g., notifications), and legal obligations.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any right, contact us at the address in Section 11. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

Valiant is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Data Transfers

We operate globally, and your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for these transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
